I have acquired numerous medium grit naturals during the last year and now it’s time to release some of them. All these stones are great performers but I just can’t keep all of them so I want to sell the redundant ones. I will start with these four, maybe more will come.

All stones are sealed and ready to go. Prices include shipping in Europe, for international I cover the first 15$ which should be a little over 50% in most cases.
For any questions or more pictures just drop me a line.

SOLD 1) Natsuya (210x78x66; 250€): Classical Natsuya stone with perfect hardness, not too soft and not too hard. Starts out aggressively and refines nicely while you work the mud. Gets even faster when building some slurry before starting. Leaves a very aggressive edge and a beautiful upper range medium grit polish with loads of contrast and detail.

SOLD 2) Aizu (215x68x40; 200€): Super clean stone, apart from that a typical Aizu, quite fast and perfect for kitchen knife edges. No need to raise a slurry but it will of course help with speed and polish. Great finish with nice contrast.

3) Kouzuketo (185x60x50; 100€): Catch and release. Just bought this one from JNS out of curiosity just to find out that it’s too hard for my taste. Very hard stone that definitely needs slurry to work. Can’t comment about the edges, polish is nice with a visible but even scratch patter. I won’t include the Nagura it came with because I want’t to keep it but I think Atoma slurry is better for this stone anyway.

SOLD 4) Vintage Aoto (180x72x45; 165€)
This is a very hard stone as well and it needs to be refreshed regularly. You can use it for touchups on water only and will get a pretty refined edge or raise some slurry and use it for polishing as well. It leaves a very Nice and even kasumi finish in the 3k area or maybe a bit higher. Plus it gets coarser with slurry so the edge will get more bite too.

I cannot really reduce the price of the Kouzuketo anymore but to maybe make it a little more tempting I could add a few Nagura (2-3 pieces) of varying grit to the stone.

Let’s try 90€ including european shipping for the Kouzuketo. I will add an Iyoto and an unknown Suita Nagura that you can play around with.

Received with thanks. Very well wrapped , so we need a workhorse to open it ;).
Thanks for all nagura provided. The Kouzuketo is hard as I like it (and fortunately for me as you do not like it).
Deal with Childermass and you'll get more than expected.
