SHIPPING PRICE
I use Canada post and the handle is fully insured. The price obviously depends on the exact location but here is an estimate of what it generally costs depending on the region. United States ~13$USD | Canada ~20$CAD | Europe ~20€
ADJUSTING THE OPENING
The dimension of the tang entrance is roughly 3x12 so you will need to use a rasp or a files to obtain the right diameter for your blade. Adjusting the dowel width is quite easy and you can also use the traditional burnt method.
HOW TO INSTALL YOUR HANDLE
After shaping the diameter for your tang I strongly recommend using hot glue. This way it will be very easy to remove your handle in the future for polishing or to change handles. Here's a quick step-by-step guide:

HOW TO INSTALL YOUR HANDLE
After shaping the diameter for your tang I strongly recommend using hot glue. This way it will be very easy to remove your handle in the future for polishing or to change handles. Here's a quick step-by-step guide:
- Tape the handle entry leaving only the tang hole visible.
- Tape your blade tang at the correct installation distance.
- Fill the tang hole with hot glue cut pieces. Compact well so that it is well filled.
- Heat the tang of your blade with a torch without overdoing it by focusing on the first 5cm. Heating the tang for 15~20 seconds is generally sufficient.
- Insert the blade into the handle slowly until you reach the bottom.
- Check the alignment and correct it. When everything is in place, hold this position firmly for 2 minutes until the glue hardens a bit.
- Remove excess glue from the handle. I use a small scalpel that I heat with my torch to smooth the finish.
- Enjoy your new pair of pants!
