Rates finally coming down but not fast enough lol. Got bills to pay so here's more of my collection getting the axe.
Gona go from coarse to fine in list order

1) ohira shiro suita
Roughly 220x80x60
Cuts very fast, very similar to maruo shiro suita in both feel and finish, maybe a bit more velvety and not as soft as maruo shiro.
Asking 1900usd

2) ohira momiji suita
210x77x47
Same speed as previous stone, feedback is more chalky so it's really pleasant to work with. Again right around maruo shiro range, this and stone 1 are interchangeable in most cases.

3) ohira ao renge suita
220x80x50
Pretty much all ohira ao renge are the same. Challenging stones with how reactive they are but they have the added benefit of bringing out a lot of detail with time and patience. They work fantasticc as prefinishers for detailed polishes. Firm but fast, this one is a touch finer than normal.
Surface needs a refresh.

5) monster ohira uchigumori
210x78x64
I already regret listing this lol. Stupid big perfectly clean ohira uchi, not a line in sight, 0 su layers or pockets. Incredibly consistent stone, very easy to work with. Falls into a category where I have like 6 things that do the same job so it gets the axe.
The surface in the natural lighting is covered in atoma scratches after a refresh. Still has chisel marks around the edge of the stone face, I didn't get to enjoy it for as long as I would have liked.
Asking 2500usd

6) nakayama asagi
207x77x43
I searched a long time for a nakayama asagi that wasn't crap for knives and this was the one I settled on. Very hard, very fine stone, grit consistency is superb. The polish picture was mirrored so well I couldn't capture scratches because the bevel was reflecting all the light back into my camera, too much glare.
Asking 600usd
