I for one can vouch for JPAU's handles. I own a few and they are all of outstanding quality with very solid crafting. I would agree that the pictures do not represent the beauty of the wood/horn accurately. Here are a few of his handles that I have as a reference.

When you get a knife from Maxim the box smells like it's been in an Australian wildfire. So incredibly Smokey. Dude chain smokes cigarettes in the warehouse and it gets on everything.

Hopefully it doesn’t permeate anything except the packaging / refuse! For the buyer of these knives I will spray the box with an ambergris infused perfum and mark it with ancient runes, as a bonus.

It's pretty gross honestly. Last time I got something I ended up leaving the box outside for a couple weeks to air out.

That’s rank. Perhaps I should infuse my packaging with my signature scent (I made my own in Granada last year). Get some brand recognition like Maxim
