1) morihei aizu ($320 shipped)
This is a sweet aizu. On the finer side. I would say probably around 6k. Really sweet edges with nice bite. Pretty easy to polish on as well. Stone is sealed already with shellac. Check the photos out. Length is 8”, height is 2”, width is just shy of 3”.
2) maruoyama shiki uchigumori ($420 shipped) *dropped to $400*
Bought this one from carbon knife co. Really nice stone that is pretty friggen easy to use. Leaves awesome contrast. Brings out tiny amounts of detail. Easily self slurries. On the smaller side length wise, but it’s still super easy to use even polishing a 270. Stone is sealed with shellac. Length is 6.5”, height is just about 1.75”, width is just shy of 3” as well.
3) kiita and uchi fingerstones ($125 shipped)
Kiita and the larger pack of uchigumori stones are from JNS. The smaller pack of uchi stones is from knifewear. I used 3 of the stones from the jns pack of uchi and 2 from the pack of Kiita. None have been used from the pack from knifewear. I will send backing paper with these.
These two stones were a part of my polishing progression, but i’m just going to keep 2-3 jnats on hand until I can get my overtime back and have a little extra money on hand. Thanks for looking. Keeping these in the US only for now.
