This was originally a kuro fine finished Morihei (TF) Hisamoto iron clad White #1 as seen in the link.

Edge Length: 210mm
Height: 49mm
Weight: 214g
It's a pretty solid 210 gyuto and stays pretty thick the whole way along as seen in the spine shot. It is thin behind the edge but still a bit wedgy and ideally needs the shinogi to be eased for the best performance, especially as you get toward the tip. The steel feels pretty hard but easy to sharpen like most shirogami. It does take an insane edge and I think I've managed the sharpest HHT edges on this out of all my knives.
I have mostly removed the kuro finish with sandpaper and stones leaving deeper spots that would probably disappear with some proper etchant. The fine finish is also long gone as I've used it as a bit of a test bench for stones. Currently has a very basic polish mostly from an aoto I was testing. I had never planned on selling it and treated it as a bit of a project knife but here we are. I understand that it is now very much changed from stock so have priced accordingly.
Priced at $250. Located in Aus and will ship at this price locally but will put first $10 toward international shipping.
