I purchased this during ARM, tho did not receive it until afterward. This was my 3rd try at using a nakiri (kochi and markin before), and they are just not for me. I have $410 into it, would like to get $370 $340 $315 $290 shipped CONUS.

It has seen light home use and I touched up the edge once, but no real sharpening. It has a light patina that I can remove it someone wishes me too.

Handle is curly redwood by @KasumiJLA and here was a video that Julien sent me. Definitely some 3D effects going on that the crappy pics don't capture.



Total weight is 221G. Blade forward with the point of balance a bit in front of the maker's mark.

Yeah I remember that handle and it was a fun one to make. The wood is stabilized curly redwood with an ebony ferrule, rokkaku hanmaru shape. And fun fact, a customer came to my shop today to have a handle with this very wood 😅
