Having made some considerable acquisitions in the last few days I have to move another knife. So I’m looking to sell my 165mm Munetoshi Nakiri.
I just can’t get along with a Nakiri anyhow as I still prefer a cleaver when reaching for something square so it’s good to go.

The knife feels thinner than the choil shot might suggest and it is a great specimen of its kind. Although being really thin near the edge it is still tough and I have portioned butternut squash with it never feeling I am lacking a tougher blade.

The knife was used a couple of times but still has its original very keen edge. It still flies through vegetables with ease so I didn’t feel the need to sharpen it. It has a very stable patina by now which I can remove upon request.

I upgraded the handle to a burnt chestnut one which also helps for a more neutral balance. The handle is attached using hot glue so swapping it for something different would be easy.

Specifications:
Overall length: 318mm
Edge length: 167mm
Height at heel: 52mm
Weight: 179g

Overall this is a gorgeous blade and I will surely regret selling it. Due to the handle I have to price it a bit less competitive at 150€ shipped in Europe. For international shipping I will cover the first 15$ which should be well over 50% regardless of your location.
