Hi, I'm searching for information, about what dilution to use with muriatic acid to etch knifes, but I didnt find anything helpful yet. There is lots of information for ferric chloride, but only little information for muriatic acid.
I have read something about 10 or 20/1, but I dont know how long it would take to etch. Can someone who used muriatic acid give a general advice, what percentage to use and for how long.
