I’m currently working on polishing the first knife I made together with another guy. It’s forged warikomi style with wrought and O2. We did the forging together, then he did the grind and as stated above, I’m now on the polishing team.
It needs a handle and some Uchi finger stones for the last few touches.

It’s not without it’s flaws, but I’m actually pretty proud 😅

Thanks. I’ll try to pull out more contrast before moving to the finishing touches with fingerstones, but I’m not quite sure how much I’ll be able to get out of it. Time well tell I guess
 
Super impressive work there. Any idea of the hardness you were trying to achieve with the O2. William Catcheside went through a period where he used O2.

The theoretical assessment is around 61. I haven’t given it an edge yet, so I have no idea how it feels. But I look forward to actually start using it 😅
