A friend of mine decided to build his own pool table, from scratch.
Among other woods he used birds eye maple, wenge, purple heart etc.
Using the offcuts he made me this board.
Not end grain yet but I hope to take it back to him and to turn it into an end grain board.
I have been treating it with a bees wax and mineral oil mixture.
Here I initiate it with a fresh piece of biltong!
