Naming the price makes you start eyeing the haul and how many blocks it will make. Get's you thinking about margin.

I think I have turned into a serious Koa Junky.

How could you not? ;) I guess I am over-identifying with the local culture a bit ;) We'll see where my job will take me, but if I stay here I will go hunting for koa and some other local woods in the fall...

Another small batch arrived today.

Now I have to cut blocks and send it to K&G.
The old gray stuff is red fiddleback. From grandfather's estate.
This batch is mostly reds and orange stuff with a couple amber ones.
