Myojin ground knives not sitting straight on magnetic strip?

I bought a wooden magnetic strip to store my knives, and I found that my Myojin knives (a NxM kiritsuke and a Tetsujin gyuto) don't really sit straight on the strip regardless of how I put them on. They always end up sliding to a tilted position around 45 degrees and not really stable. So for now, I have kept them in the drawer, but I really want to put them on the strip for display purposes. I wonder if anyone have the same issue or have any solution for this?

I don't have that issue with my Myojin, but I did experience that with my Wakui workhorse. No matter how I positioned it, the knife would always tilt and I was afraid that it would fall. Based on the recommendation of @dehory, I bought a stronger mag strip, made by Woodsom. I bought the "double strength" model and it works great. I just checked their website and unfortunately they're all sold out.

The arrangement of the magnets in Woodsom’s mag strip means knives stay vertical more effectively than on other mag strips I’ve tried in that price range.

I think the crucial difference is they have at least two rows of magnets instead of just a single line of magnets running along the middle. So even blades with a reduced surface area (e.g. highly convexed bevels) directly touching the mag strip can be held by two points of contact instead of just one point on which they can swivel.

I have two normal strength fridge-mounted models, and haven’t had any issues with knives in a large variety of weights and shapes. They’re sold on Amazon, so it’s pretty easy to return them if they aren’t an improvement on what you currently own.

I have multiple knives that do this. My best guess on why it happens is that the cladding is not as magnetic as the core steel. Every single time it happens, the knife is tilting down, never back. Which tells me the weight of the handle is helping the bottom magnet draw the core steel closer to it, which makes the knife turn slightly downwards. Idk if that makes sense, but I have noticed that it only seems to happen with San Mai blades, not monosteel.

Actually, come to think of it, I seem to remember some tilting backwards too. So I really have no idea 🤣

A lot of my knives used to do this. I mitigated it by putting a piece of leather between the strip and knife. I got leather squares for free from online furniture stores by asking for leather samples. The squares are cut down to fit behind the knife so you don't see it when the knife is on the strip. The extra friction of the leather keeps them put.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I think it is just the very convex bevels on my Myojin knives causing only a small part of the blade to actually be contacting the strip.
