Nakayama Aisa Karasu with vivid karasu (crow) patterns. This is a soft stone and perfect for knives. It has a solid base but cuts extremely fast providing a softer cushion underneath the blade. Most harder Nakayama Suita have a unique elasticity type feedback. This one being softer and Aisa has a different type feel. More gentle underneath the blade as the stone cuts.

As you're sharpening it feels as though the stone is auto-slurrying more than it really is. It's mostly just cutting as seen in the photo.

Kasumi has nice depth on the Jigane and a beautiful sheen on the hard steel.

Can be used for razors as well but Mikawa Nagura progressions will likely end up with a higher percentage of base stone than a harder stone.

This stone comes with a Tomo Nagura.
