Need help picking from Gyuto Shortlist

Even though some of them are somewhat sobering, it reasonably makes sense not to bite off more than I can chew with my first japanese gyuto.

That being said, I'm still considering jumping into the TF and seeing where things go! Also following up on the Kaeru suggestion.

I would encourage you to do a lot of research here on the forum on TF knives. He absolutely has a loyal following, particularly due to his steel treatment but there as many or maybe more who shun his work due to irregularities vs. price. So, you just need to understand what you're potentially getting into and be good with that.

If you have to ask about the TF, you shouldn't be buying one. As @HumbleHomeCook said, do your research and go into it eyes wide open.
