Hello,
I live in Paris, France and i love straight razors. But recently, i bought several knifes and i am trying to learn how to maintain and sharpen them. This is more difficult for me than straight razors! I am trying to understand if i can use the same stones or not for both.

Bienvenue,
I like a lot hard stones for knife, normally used for razors.

Welcome. Head to our Sharpening Station sub-forum and start up a thread with your background, tools, and knives. Folks are great about helping and there's several razor sharpeners on the forum.

Welcome to the forum. This is a topic I have a lot of thoughts about, but as @HumbleHomeCook says, it's a better discussion for the sharpening section. For now, I will limit myself to the observation that my Shapton Glass 1000 is both my most-used knife stone, and my bevel setter for razors.

Welcome. Do you have any favorite French knives?
