    Hello all.

search on the internet for knives led me here.
Hope to become a good member here.

Starting out with this knife. Do not know anything but thought I'd start with one.

hey guys. thanks for the warm welcome.

I currently have for my fishing catch (fileting and prep). not a pro just a wannabe at home:
Kai Western Handle filet (had for about 20 years) - SS
    Seki Short Yanagiba - SS
    Aritsugu Yanagiba - CS

I need a Deba with a bit of heft to work on anything from rockfish to football tunas (although tunas can be cut with anything long), the rockfish and boney fish would be easier with a Deba...... who am I kidding... I just want a Deba. No "need" for it.:D

smaller 105mm to 120mm is something i've been looking at. but then realize that maybe if I want heft, I should be in the 165-180mm range.

FYI: the picture I posted is what I am interested in, not what I own
