Hello. I’ve had a few misc cleavers and a hog splitter. Newbie just at the “these are cool” stage. Looking for info on this Foster Bros cleaver. (Is this still considered a cleaver with the hook?)

Awesome knife! I don't know why it having a hook would disqualify it from being a cleaver tho

Assumed it was a cleaver. Just don’t know from a renderer’s or butcher’s point of view if it was more specific.

Value anyone?
