Pics later

It's a plastic ferrule, coated ho wood.
It's like 40mm tall.
Medium grind with shinogi, and black tsuchime wide hammer marks

Basically a tall petty

Iron clad white
Old stock it seems, or at least I bought it as that

No machi

No engraving but pretty dark sure it's a yoshikane, was sold as one and has the polished hagane and misty iron clad, and nicely rounded choil and spine and profile shape like yoshikane I've seen. Radiused choil, when looked at from the side

Steel feels pretty good and on the harder side, but not exceptionally hard. Very small bevel, close to a zero grind.

122 mm edge
141mm neck to tip
254mm overall

Steel upon sharpening feels on the definite harder side. Kinda blueish side of white

There's this folded seam thing on the iron on the left side neck, but everything feels solid, but yeah, it's not aesthetically perfect. Structurally it feels fine though. I can try bending it to see if it can handle that, but the blade is already really straight and I don't want to mess that up.

Grind is middleweight with distinct shinogi. . . So good food release, but wedging in denser stuff. But the initial cut is good because the the edge angle is relatively low.
