Ads are a necessary fact of life for any site, but some are especially intrusive. The new Beef ad on mobile is one of those for me. I'm unsure how much choice is available for these ads, but for me this Beef ad, displaying icons all over my screen every time I click a link, makes the forum unpleasant to visit. My 2c only. Could be I'm entering the grumpy old man phase of my life.

We have zero control of what ads are displayed, but you do...

You can disable ads in the preferences section.

Does anyone else have spam popup windows open up all the time on this site saying "Your Mac is infected with 3 viruses!", etc...? KKF is the only place I get these, outside of disreputable places like free sport streaming sites.

So, you are getting Pop ups? When logged in? I'll have to pull out the iPad to see if it happens there. I have never seen that when on the iPadPro I use to check out Mac type issues. And I was on the site with it last evening and nothing like that happened.

Yes, when logged in, I think. Not all the time, though. I'll pay attention to which computer I'm using when I see them next and post about it.

Please, if you can get me any explicit information I can have it checked out and see if something can be done about it.

Thanks everyone. I'll try to leave ads on to support the site unless it's really bad.

This happens on my iMac running OS 10.14.2 and Safari version 12.0.2. I am logged in.

I am having that looked into. I was today told it MIGHT come from an ad. If it is, it should be stopped soon.
