New stone

Well today I decided to pick up a new polishing stone. So my search ended with me getting a Ohira Renge Suita. Here are some pictures.

I was told that it was spit in half and he had to flatten it so it could be used. So what do you guys think.

Sides and back side is covered up very well, so its hard to tell, but definitely look like stone is slited.

haha very true. From what I've been reading they are a very good stone. Based upon what I've seen from it, it looks like a winner. Now just have to wait and see.
