Good day !
Fellow sharpeners, knives owners and other tools that can cut fingers off, I recently presented myself here as a young timberframer, and there seemed to be a few people interested in what we use as daily things we can hurt ourselves with.
Here's a few of my personal workhorses, I hope you're gonna like them ! :D

Cheers !

I recently took my first steps into the Japanese box plane world. Mine is a smaller cheap one. I'm starting to get it sorted out though I definitely have a ways to go.

Thanks for sharing your tools!

I love this. And you actually use the tools. Super cool!

Very nice pictures, thank you. One of these days I will get around to photographing some of my planes, saws, bench and timber chisels. These are what I consider "retired" from serious work. I think most, if not all , are older than myself. I do little woodworking anymore... but plan to get back into it after my retirement next year. Isn't it interesting how the chisels and plane blades are made in a similar way as our favorite Japanese knives? Forge welded with a hard steel and a soft iron backing, with a concave ura on the backside
