Question for "cleaver"-users: Which "cleaver" designs would most often be used to disassemble a coconut?
I use a thick-ish cheap soft stainless cleaver. I paid like $10 for it and I can beat on it really hard without worrying about chipping. I don't think I measured it before but it's roughly around 200x85, 330g with an edge angle of 20deg+ per side.

I might offend people...
But for me...everything under 160x80mm is a nakiri.
Especially in terms of hight. so i like a kinda good 2:1 ratio, but not a must be.
Cause i kinda like 190x80mm too - even if it should be 95mm then.

Soo...80mm+ in hight, close to a 2:1 is my personal opinion

Thanks to @ch_br asking for my opinion and showing me this thread !
