Imaishi Ohira Tomae 20.5x7,5x3,5 with 1239 gram this stone originated from JNS and thus selected by Maxim as a quality stone.
Ive tested another stone of the exact type. The stone is really good. It compares to stones I have 2-3 times the value. The video can be found via the link below.
I’m selling this stone, guidance for sharpening and/ or polishing I offer to the buyer when requested. Since the stone is easy to use, making a kasumi finish is easy when the surface is prepared correctly.
This stone is an easy stone since it’s soft 3/5 and fine enough to reach a near scratchless finish with nice kasumi contrast. Also great edges can made on (carbon) knives. It sells for 275€, I’m in Netherlands Europe.
If the buyer would like it, I can trough in some fingerstones.
