It's deeper than a laser etch you'd have to remove a substantial amount of steel. Jody does excellent work but I can't say I'm a fan of his logo, but I believe the name & logo come from his daughter so it's quite special to him.

I LOVE the sakimari tip shape whether it's single or double bevel
