Hi all
Sky here with a couple of fun blades. We've seen some heaters on BST today, but these are for the no-nonsense, bang-for-your-buck crowd.
I want to say that I absolutely love both of these knives. There are no boxes that they did not tick. I've just reached a point of one in one out, and at this point all of the knives I still own tick all of the boxes for me. I've got a few blades coming in, so it's time to make some room!
MSicard 240mm AEBL Gyuto:
Matt's work is also well known and loved here, so I won't talk this one up too much. It's a super nimble stainless laser. A no-nonsense tool, with functionality as its primary concern. Feather light, and worry-free. This will certainly not be my last blade from Matt. This one has been used only a handful of times, and it has not been sharpened or stropped. It arrived with a few scratches on the blade, so I've included some close-up photos to highlight those areas.
Specs:
229mm x 50mm, 152g
AEBL Monosteel
Originally purchased directly from Matt for $270, here: https://www.kitchenknifeforums.com/threads/230mm-aeb-l-sabatier-styled-chef-knife.66556/
Asking$225 $200 $190, US shipped and insured. I'll pay first $15 for intl.

Wat Pro 180mm Nakiri: (SOLD)
This knife is well known and loved here, so I'll save you the hype talk. This one has been lightly used in a home setting, and has been professionally sharpened at JKI twice. The first time was right when I got it, to get a good initial edge, and the second time was last week, so it is currently very sharp.
Specs:
178mm x 60mm, 208g
Blue 2 steel with stainless cladding
Originally purchased directly from Shinichi.
Asking$300 $275, US shipped and insured. I'll pay first $15 for intl.
