I acquired this knife BNIB about 2-3 months ago.
The plan was to try it out and then sell it quickly, but I have kept this knife for much longer than I anticipated given how good it is. It is such a nice workhorse.
I can personally attest to the performance of this knife. I would say, in my opinion, it is among the best of the best workhorse knives out there today and I have tried a lot of them.
If this is your length and weight and you want to try a top tier workhorse, look no further.
For those who are not familiar, CruForgeV is a very nice steel that's no longer available. Fairly wear resistant with great attributes.
The knife has only been lightly used by me in a home environment.
265mm x 53mm
271g
Nice Arizona ironwood handle
Out of the handle, it is thick (see picture below). You can probably call it semi-integral.
Thick spine with a very thin edge. I picked the biggest carrots from a big bag I bought from Costco, no cracking whatsoever. Smooth like butter.
