I just got this one and used it only a couple of times. Hasn't touched a stone or strop. Earlier this year I made a plan for my knife path but the sexiness of Manaka's work led me astray and I jumped on this one. But, I want to get back on the straight and narrow so I'm putting it back into the wild.

The kasumi finish seems to be somewhat reactive. Not like insta-rust by any means but darkens and gets a bronze-ish hue. It's also a bit inconsistent as I hope the pics capture. Nothing bad, especially at this price point. The knife leans more to a worker than a laser.
There's a spot on the left tip where it looks like Kisuke maybe hit the wheel or something (see picture). I think it's mostly cosmetic and looks worse with the light but after taking the pics, it is more prominent than I originally thought so I'll knock a few bucks off. Again, in no way would this bother me from a performance point of view.
The walnut handle along with the tsuchime finish are quite nice.
I suck at choil shots so asking for one is likely futile.
