Extremely high quality Nenohi Deba. From the website: "Nenohi's special line of shiro-ko hongasumi knives are forged by dentoukougeishi craftsmen in Japan. Dentoukougeishi are highly skilled master artisans recognized by the Japanese government for their commitment to protect traditional art and techniques. These knives are made with a wider kireha (cutting blade) and extreme attention to detail for a finer cutting edge."

Steel Material:White Steel #2
Classification:Hongasumi
HRC:62

This knife is barely used, but I can shine it up before it gets shipped out. It came with a mirror finish, so the metal will sparkle if given the time. I have retired from being a chef, so I just don't have a need for this knife anymore. I'm hoping it goes to someone who can use it. Deba's like this are hard to come by, and normally have a long waiting list. Let me know if there are any questions!

Price is $600 $475!, I will pay the shipping!

I usually add in the pertinent height/weight/length measurements; I'd certainly add in picks of the ura, and possibly kireha and hira shots with a straight edge to show the bevel and flat geometry.

for what its worth, Ted is a friend here in LA and i'd be happy to clean this (and the other one) up for the buyer if you'd like. He had asked for my help in selling these, but I thought the best place for them might be on the forums like this, as we don't really deal with used knives as a company at all. But I can vouch for him as a person and would be happy to help clean these up a bit if that is wanted.

here you go! There is a small nick in the edge, but Jon at Japanese Knife Imports (personal friend of mine) said he would clean it up and sharpen the edges before it ships out.
