For sale: 210mm* (200mm spine to tip length, ~175mm cutting edge length, ~50.7mm spine to edge height at heel) Shigefusa Kitaeji Usuba.
*Knife was sold to me by Japan-Tool and listed as a 210mm Usuba. The measurements following are roughly what I measured them to be in reality.
I used the knife very lightly to do katsuramuki and ciseler onion. No edge damage, only touched up on my hard aka renge suita. I've treated the handle with several coats of Tru-Oil and a final coat of Ren Wax. Knife comes with a pomelle sapele saya that I made - pictures below. The saya is NOT friction fit and has a pin hole of roughly 3.3mm diameter but does NOT come with a pin for it. I've checked the knife for straightness and defects and it's about as perfect as I've seen Shigefusa come, but they are handmade knives so there's always that.
