I am continuing to sell off my collection of Japanese natural sharpening stones as I leave the hobbies of Japanese knives and straight razors.
Both of these 4 stone sets were matched and sold to me by Keith Johnson. They present a nice progression of grits and feel for those who like to use these for slurry on harder stones or for a polish progression.
These are very large Mikawa Nagura, each around 200gm. Each set has the coveted Koma stones included.
Stones are sealed with cashew lacquer, stamps are visible, working face is smooth and with rounded edges.
I will ship well packaged and will entertain offers, especially for multiple purchase from my recent listings.
1) SOLD Set A, Mikawa Nagura, asking $600 to include Continental USA shipping SOLD
-Botan 210 gm, striped, pasty fast cutter
-Tenjyou 260 gm, striped, fast cutting stone
-Mejiro 190 gm, striped, creamy feel
-Koma, 195gm, white, very fine feel, turns blue when wet.
