Hey all,
I'm putting these back up after some new purchases. They've been largely unused, except to compare new stones. All are sealed and prices are shipped CONUS.
All three for $330.
Red Aoto - $250 205x76x31mm
Soft and muddy stone that leaves a nice toothy edge (2-3k?). Starts off kind of thirsty, but don't use too much water. It's a good place to stop for general use.
Numata Torato- $120 210x90x43mm
Hard stone that needs atoma slurry for general use. With slurry it finishes on the finer side of an aizu, but with better feedback. Without it it's more of a polished edge starting to lose its teeth.
Akamatsu - $45
Bought here:

It's a coarse and muddy stone that I'd only recommend for single or wide bevels. The feedback isn't great, but it actually cuts really fast.
Thanks
