Hi all, joined as this seems like the best place to get advice on where/how to have my Kramer Zwilling Carbon Steel 1.0 knife handles refinished. I have the full set and all are showing some signs of wood shrinkage. Zwilling has agreed to honor their warranty but I’ve had the knives for 5 years already and don’t like the idea of having them go to waste, especially now that they’ve developed their beautiful blue patina. Any recommendations on bladesmiths that might be able to help?

Mostly considered a DIY project, oil / sand, sand / oil. Repeat till done.

Now that you've done the intro, your question will get more traction under "Kitchen Knife".

If you've got to have it done, Zack at Tokusho Knives would be a good one to ask.
