SOLD Sakai Kikumori Nashiji Blue #2 Gyuto 212mm

I got this a few months ago and came to the realization, as a non-meat eater, I just don't use a gyuto. The knife has the height I like, but I find I use my 180mm Bunka and Nakiri exclusively, and this just sits. At 58mm x 212mm (I asked the folks at CKC to pick me a tall one), and 7.25 oz's I'd put this bad boy squarely in the "workhorse" category.

Stainless clad, Aogami Blue no. 2. Magnolia handle, with buffalo horn ferrule.

It has not been sharpened.

I’m not very familiar with Sakai Kikumori, but this looks a lot like a Matsubara Nashiji to me.

I'm pretty sure these are made by Matsubara. I had a 240 in white #1 that was a bout 200g and wished it was a little heftier. This one looks just about perfect!

This is a sweet one. I have a couple in this line and no doubt this is more beefier version (just on weight alone). CKC listing has it a 178g. I agree with folks comment on the Matsubara. Note: Sakai Kikumori versions retail for more than Matsubaras.
