Cooking is a hobby that has recently turned into an obsession. My wife is Japanese and together we cook a different asian dish together every night. I'm looking to start getting a bit more academic in my cooking and trying to perfect different techniques, which is leading me to look at more french methods and recipes. In that pursuit I am looking for a nice knife or two to become foundational to my set. Along with this I'm really interested in learning to use a sharpening stone rather than the little handheld sharpeners I've used up until this point. Hoping to draw on the collective wisdom of this community to help guide me on my journey.
