Sealing wood handles

I have a Robert Herder carbon breakfast knife, link below. This is a fantastic little knife that effortlessly cuts crusty bread and can then be used to spread the butter. The only problem is that the handle is not fully sealed; can anyone recommend a good sealant? Thanks in advance..

Ca glue (super glue) . It's a nontoxic acrylic resin that uses the moisture in the air as a catalyst. Just apply very quickly with a latex gloved hand. Zap a gap has the best consistency , takes a good shine too.
