Hi everyone, been looking at these forums for a while now and just decided to join. Excited to be a part of the community. Figured I'd make a post sharing a 150mm Bunka I finished up a little while back. This one was made from 1095 with a Lacewood, Ivory G10, and African Blackwood handle. Tapers from a spine thickness of 1.85mm at the heel to about 1mm at the start of the k-tip and has a height of 44mm at the heel.

Just finished up this 210mm san mai gyuto as well! It is hand forged and has a 1095 core hardened to ~61 HRC (with an auto-hamon) and 15N20 cladding. Made a felt-lined, friction fit saya for it too.

Handle is a monowood bubinga.

Blade Height at Heel: 52 mm
Thickness @ handle : 2.7 mm
Thickness where spine curves to tip: 1 mm

Recently completed san mai bunka! Wanted to try forging this one a bit thinner than usual and pretty happy with the result. Did a convex grind on it and the spine thickness at the heel comes in around 1.5mm. Core is 26C3 at ~63HRC and has a 15N20 cladding. Handle is gaboon ebony and spalted tamarind

Another small k-tip petty that went out this week. Made from 52100 with a mangowood handle. Super thin with a spine thickness of just 1.5mm at the heel tapering to .6mm at the start of the k-tip.

Here's a small paring knife hand forged from a 26C3 core and 15N20 cladding. This has an african blackwood handle.

In the process of upgrading my forge and grinder so going to be a little slow this next month! Hope everyone has a good end of the year.
