Sharpal 1200 vs Atoma 1200 diamond

The Atoma is well respected as having a smoother and better edge than the DMT. There seems to be almost nothing on the net about the Sharpal 325/1200 which is out there for about $40. Mono and electroplated. Anyone tried the Sharpal by itself or in comparison to the Atoma or DMT? I have that mangled edge photo of the DMT 1200 from Science of Sharp firmly implanted in my paranoid brain. If the Sharpal had a smooth 1200 it would be pretty much all I would need. Thanks
