I'm not sure which one this is but recently Shehan has been using white #2 for his iron clad knives. I have a wrought iron clad white #2 and the convex grind is thinner than my two other Shi.Han knives which makes it cut superbly. Cannot recommend a Shi.Han knife enough especially these wrought iron clad beauties that cut wonderfully.

Is this W2 or White #2 aka shirogami? I thought Shi.Han used mostly 52100.

I specifically asked and it's White #2

Surprised this is on sale, what didn’t work for you?
Nothing in particular, I think it's a wonderful knife and could use a good polish to bring out the cladding for anyone that would appreciate the knive's beauty. I'm mainly just going to stick to a few knives to work with going forward. Knife game is getting too expensive for me haha

Haha, yes, my wallet also cries in gyuto. I would have scooped this up instantly if I did not secure a spot on his summer order list with semi-custom specifications. Good luck with your sell!
