Seeing if there is any interest in this Shi.Han custom I got from Shehan. It's a 210mm, so a little shorter and lighter than I use typically which is why I'm putting it up. Really nice heat treat on the W2; I'm original owner and have sharpened it once. I like both his W2 and A2 treats quite a lot. Love the handle chatoyance, and the grind is a nice, tall convex that balance food release and cutting feel. Got a patina on it that you (or I) can keep or remove. This knife would be a good one for a kasumi or fingerstone finish I think. Specs are:
  • W2 core, iron clad with telegraph wire
  • Bay Laurel octogonal one piece handle
  • 187 grams
  • 56mm at the heel
  • 209mm blade
  • 365mm OAL
Asking $500 CONUS/$525 int'l or trade +/- cash as fair for any of the below that I'm looking for:
Raquin 220-260mm
Yanick Puig
Kato suji or petty
Shi.Han 240, taller
