I really really don’t want to sell this. I was going to make this my everyday gyuto but had some equip go out at our resturant and need to raise some money quick. So here it goes with tears in my eyes lol

240 SHIG KASUMI With the most beautiful spalted maple burl and African blackwood handle. Nicest handle on any knife I’ve seen.
I think I’m the second owner but I could be wrong The guy I got it from said he cut a few cucumbers and that’s all. I cut a couple apples and haven’t used since. Looks like the original edge.....besides a few little spots of patina it looks brand new.

    248 mm
    54 mm
    229 g
I’ve owned a lot of knives and a few other shigs but this one is by far the best I’ve seen. I’m really sad to let it go. I hope it goes somewhere it will get some use.
    $950 shipped

I’ll upload some photos in a couple hours. In the mean time if you send me your email I’ll send photos right over

Not sure if I missed it, but is it a Kasumi or Kiteaji?
