I haven't used these in years so it is time they move on to someone who will appreciate them.
Each has a custom saya/handle by Marko Tsourkan (black walnut and desert ironwood (burl)).
The santoku was purchased from Japan Woodworker - I have the original receipt and box.
The gyuto was purchased used from this forum and then sent to Marko for the saya/handle work, he graciously sharpened and refinished it too.
Both were used lightly after Marko's work but never put to the stones again.
