Here's stone #2, a beautiful, clean Shobu tomae with Nashiji, goma and iromono hues. These shobudani tomae are no joke and will hold their own against a lot of more glamorous named stones out there. IMO, very underrated stones. This one is long and thin, San sized. It cuts very fast and finishes fine leaving a nice toothy edge. Kasumi is nice with silver toned contrast and can be done quickly. When wet, the colors pop very nicely.

Shobu Kiita. 207×50×35

Asking 150$

This stone is a bit firmer/finer than the muddier shobu tomae out there. I tested it again the other day and was surprised. Almost has a Nakayama non-asagi tomae type feel. Fast cutting and swarf content was much higher percentage of metal than I remembered testing it initially weeks ago.
