My BIL make some pork ribs for us yesterday, and they were good. This triggered my wife to ask if beef might be better; while staring dead into the windows to my soul. I have picked up the hint, but wanted to hear some thoughts on flavors. Traditional tomato and brown sugar bbq is 86ed, but pretty much anything else is on the table. Whatchall got?

I just do salt pepper and light hickory smoke. Sometimes I will use a Dizzy Pig rub or Lysansaders beef rub. So much fat and flavor i never even thought of using a sauce.
