Well… I’m not saying that I am starting to collect more wood for a certain project with a certain someone, but IF I was, this could fit the bill.

Yes baby! Finally found a steady supply of the quality I want.

Nice. Its a bit difficult to get this type of wood where I live, without loosing an arm and a leg to VAT and shipping.

This was actually one of the first handles I made with coloured epoxy used to fill a knot in the wood (it's floorboard offcuts, so there are quite a few knots to play with). Still terrible pictures on my crappy phone camera, but here you go:

I now usually use blue coloured epoxy for this. Here's a very striking one I did a couple of evenings ago, which I rather like and will be keeping for me!

I love it. I'm admittedly not super into colorful handles or the use of natural colors but this is really stunning.

My first non-mono handle attempt. The pine handle on my kipp was splitting, so I made a new handle in the same style (juma / black micarta / copper / black micarta / wood) but using a nice piece of curly white oak from a 100 year old valley oak in my backyard.

free wood handles!

I like that handle, especially how gently it widens towards the end. pretty cool!

I made some insanely simple and rustic balsa hollow sticks.

These are not ment to be perfect or beautiful. Just to protect the edges while taking them from place a to b.

Just need some sanding and they are done. Took about as long as die hard 4 runs.

Sorry for interrupting your thread with all the beautiful pieces. 😂❤️
