@Homechef - Thank you sir again for another wonderful transaction. As always a pleasure.
@Kippington - you remember this gem? Still slices like a monster. Glad I could snag one of your OG's

Haburn.
@daveb - Thank you sir, glad we could finally get that Haburn off the BST. Definitely one of the most comfortable handles I've ever used...

Hope you enjoy the Haburn. That one had been haunting me. Glad to see it found a good home.

Steel by Lundbergs integral 264mm, Hyde 250mm 125cr1, Chopp 238mm damasteel.

I LOVE the Hyde! This was an extra custom slot Henry was kind enough to offer after a small mixup on a previous one. Honestly, I ended up loving both of knives, but this one just felt perfect from the moment I picked it up. The taper towards the extremely thin tip made it tough to get a good picture. I can't wait to put it to work this weekend.

I just got this Shihan with reclaimed cladding; it's the more homogenous version as in his recent blog post about this process. 228x53, 217g, mesquite handle. Arrived with some minor rust that I'll be cleaning up some more, doesn't seem like a big deal; anyway that's on me as I got it shipped to a US address where it sat for weeks before I got it shipped to me in New Zealand. Anyway, I look forward to using the knife!
(EDIT: forgot to mention, the core is W2 [and no, not white #2]).

Wow…just wow. I’ve always heard Mikami made good knives but from cutting one bell pepper….this thing is insane….worth every single penny.
