For sale is a pair of unknown stones. One is an upper range medium grit and the second is a hard to very hard finisher. I’m selling these for a friend of mine but both stones are in my possession so I can answer all questions and can take extra pictures upon request. Price negotiations will be a bit slower than usual though as I will have to talk back to my friend first.

SOLD: The medium grit (143x 68x38) is a really fast stone starting around 2k and finishing in 3k territory or a bit higher. From my experience I would guess it’s a more recent example of Iyoto. It will load and glaze in use and needs frequent lapping. All lines are none toxic and the stone is safe to use.

The finisher (150x86x24) is hard to very hard. I didn’t manage to get a nice finish off it without raising slurry as it is grabby on cladding and will make ugly streaks. Once a slurry is raised the stone is quite nice to use and gets a lot faster too. It is a mirror polisher on pure water and a little coarser with slurry but you can still see clear reflections on core steel. I will add a free Kiita nagura to this one that I found to work quite well.

I would guess these two would make a nice starting set for honing razors but I cannot verify it as I have no razors to try them on. You should be able to use the medium grit for bevel setting and the finisher for a nagura progression.

Asking price is 175€ (205$) for the set including shipping in Europe, for international I will take the first 15$ of shipping.
Although I would like to keep these as a set selling separately is possible. Alone the asking price is 75€ (88$)for the medium grit and 115€ (134$) for the finisher with the same shipping conditions.

For any questions or more pictures feel free to drop me a line.

This one isn’t particularly badass, it’s a cheap Okeya Kiridashi that I bought on ebay.
I dont know enough about them to know better I suppose. It looks nice to me, of course I can't tell what the heat treat, or materials it's made of are from the picture.
