SOLD Snake sells a Blackland Blackbird Stainless Steel Polished SB and SB Lite

Hi All,

I picked this up recently from a very kind member here that cut me a great deal on it. I want to pass that along to someone else. I absolutely love this DE, it has replaced my Timeless 95 as my favorite all around razor. I'm keeping the Timeless 95 as it was a gift from the wife so it's got to stay but I prefer this razor by a solid margin. Why am I replacing it you ask? Well I'm an idiot and bought a Blackland Blackbird in Ti because I have more dollars than sense.

But jokes aside, I just think Ti is cool so I wanted one of those once I confirmed I loved the razor. So want to pass this along, it's the Stainless Steel Polished version with both the polished SB plate and the SB Lite plate. The Lite plate is a tone down version of the regular SB plate, less blade feel and a bit smoother, maybe slightly less efficient but hard to tell. Basically all you would ever need unless you really like/need OC plates. In which case Blackland sells those separately too. Happy to throw in a pack or two of Kai blades as well (my favorites) with this. Comes with everything pictured, price includes shipping, ConUS only. Wanted to offer it to you all first before I post it on some of the shave forums because I like you all best anyways

Yup my Ti already arrived late last week and it’s been excellent. The Blackland Blackbird is an end game razor for sure.! I may have another razor or two coming up for sale in the next week or so because it’s killing everything

I haven’t, I didn’t even know about it. It looks very interesting. Base plate reminds me of the Muhle r41 which is renowned for its incredibly close shave. I still have one at home and I’d argue the Blackbird is on par efficiency but smoother than the r41 in my use.

OK, so as someone who has not used the Blackbird, only the Blackbird Lite (and I love it), is it worth buying the regular Blackbird base plate? Also, I don't see a longer Ti handle for the Blackbird...

If you want more blade feel and a bit more aggression than the lite then yes, otherwise nah the lite is plenty good if you aren’t perfectly comfortable with it.

I think they are working on a longer Ti handle. I think I remember something in the most recent email newsletter about it.
