For your consideration, a blue 2 Tanaka nashiji 240mm gyuto from K&S. This is the normal offering with improved fit and finish, not the "lite" version. It has the rounded spine and eased choil. I have full progression sharpened it once and just touched it up on a natural a few times since. This is a fun knife to use as it is very thin behind the edge. The knife has the ebony handle with blonde ferrule with a red spacer. The ferrule has a bit of a crack that you can just catch with your fingernail if you run it over the area. This is visible in the picture below. It has not been an issue for me in any way and doesn't hamper the use of the knife. I know James has replaced handles with issues in the past but it never troubled me enough to ask.

Specs:
Steel: blue 2
Cladding: stainless
Heel to tip: 242mm
Height at the heel: 51.6mm
Spine above heel: 2.7mm
Spine half way: 2.3mm
Spine 1 cm from tip: 1mm
Weight: 204gr / 7.2 oz
Comes with original box and the best friction fit saya I have ever used.
Cost: $225 shipped domestic, international +$30. SOLD
