Zapp z wear powder metallurgy high carbon tool steel. Longer edge holding and better corrosion resistance. Takes a great edge. I have a couple reviews from experienced users who are loving the performance of this steel.
the steel is a bit difficult to process and work with, thus the blade does not have a high grade finish, it has lengthwise scratches and a scotchbrite finish. This is a working knife.

.096 spine tapering.
1.44” heel (36.8 mm).
63 rc.
124 grams.
